good to know
-
(when to book + how many you need)
most brides book 1–2 trials
one trial is perfect for 90% of brides, but two is helpful if you have big pre-wedding events or want to test a second solution or depth.when to book your trials:
book ASAP, or at least 3 weeks before your wedding
align with engagement photos, makeup trial, bridal shower, etc.
this lets you see how the tan photographs, fades, and pairs with your dress + makeup.
wedding day tan timing:
2–3 days before your wedding is the sweet spot. perfectly developed, fully settled, no risk of over-developing or last-minute surprises.
-
(we’ll choose the best option together during your consultation)
clear solution (no bronzer)
perfect for white + ivory dresses and tight timelines. minimal transfer risk and a super clean, natural finish great if you’re nervous about anything touching your gown.bronzed solution (guide color)
has a temporary bronzer so you can see where the solution is applied. great for medium–deep tans or anyone who wants more depth and customization on application. (potential of light transfer to lining of dress).custom mix
a blend of clear + bronzed softer guide color with less transfer risk while still giving a little tint. ideal for brides who want a hint of pigment without going full bronzer.rapid vs. classic
rapid lets you rinse sooner (perfect for wedding-week schedules), while classic develops slowly, perfect for an overnight development.
-
(we’ll talk it through in detail, but here are things to keep in mind)
dress color matters (white, ivory, champagne, blush all look different against tan)
your partner’s skin tone + your bridal party’s tone
event lighting (golden hour, indoor ceremony, flash photography)
your natural undertone, we enhance, not disguise
how much contrast you want in photos
you don’t need to come in knowing what you want, we’ll guide you to the shade that looks the most “you” on camera and in person.
-
everyone’s skin develops differently, trials show us exactly how your color settles, photographs, and fades
we can fine-tune depth, undertone, and tricky areas (hands, feet, face) based on your skin’s response
helps you plan around pre-wedding events like makeup trials, showers, and photos
ensures your wedding-week tan feels natural, consistent, and perfectly matched to your dress, lighting, and overall vibe
-
consider your partner’s skin tone, big contrast can look harsher in photos
check with your makeup artist on face-tan preferences (some prefer no face tan for base application)
avoid sun, tan lines, and any risk of burns leading up to your wedding week
add hydrating treatments to keep your tan smooth
follow the prep + aftercare guide exactly, it makes a huge difference in how your tan develops
-
the whole point is to help you feel like your best self. your spray tan should never add stress, it should feel fun, intentional, and supportive with everything else that goes into planning a wedding , this gets to be the easy part.❤️
